Hibiki places his hand on the back of the other boy's neck. He leans his head forward, putting some pressure into the kiss. The warm feeling spreading throughout his body is something that Hibiki welcomes eagerly.
Shutting his eyes is an idea that comes to his mind shortly after, but he's rather watch Akira. Will his eyes glimmer? Just what kind of expression will he have? Will he chuckle? Or perhaps, he'll wink playfully and tease him?
So many options. Whatever is going to happen, one thing is a given: Hibiki will give him possibly the happiest smile after the kiss. ]
[ hibiki's lips are as soft as akira imagined they would be. it's enticing in a way that makes him want to continue. so he'll kiss him twice, and then a third time. he stops himself there and pulls back just an inch so he can breathe. but most importantly so he can smile. his heart is still in his throat and he can't help the way his heart remains in his throat. ]

It's embarrassing. He's embarrassing. Isn't he supposed to be the responsible one here? Three kisses are more than he wanted, and yet. He's pulling his head closer once again. ]
[ akira's so used to avoiding people, so used to only recently reaching out to people, that the fact his face is an inferno right now is so foreign of an idea to him. how did this happen? he never really acted on his fleeting crushes before. especially on pretty guys that had quick-wits. they never were this bad. but now he's hooked. and maybe he got hooked the first time hibiki rested his head against his chest instead of byakko's.
his pulse quickens even more - how is that possible? - and he laughs. just shortly, just fondly, and then he's curling his fingers into the soft strands of hibiki's hair to hold him by the back of his head. and he kisses him again, this time slower, this time with a bit more force behind it, eyes shutting and exhaling through his nose. ]
[ How did this happen is a question that lingers in the back of his mind, and it feels like he's close to the answer. No, he knows it already. The answer is right in front of him. If it wasn't for Akira's efforts, Hibiki would never find out about his own bottled up emotions. It's always been easier to tell that he has none, that he's empty. But that couldn't be further from the truth. The little acts of kindness coming from Akira made it obvious how wrong he has been until now.
Eventually, Hibiki closes his eyes too and relaxes into the kiss, idly tracing patterns on his nape. Will the fluttering ever end? Perhaps it's shameless of him, but he'd rather they never end. Honestly, even the heart thumping in his chest isn't bothering him. On the contrary, it makes him feel happy. ]
I'm sorry about your gentleman's reputation...I think I've ruined it. Can I make it up to you?
[ He's whispering against Akira's lips, barely holding back his giggle. ]
[ he's very much aware that there's still a lot about each other that they don't know, and while all of it may not be good, that's life, isn't it? no one's perfect, and everyone has their story. if he had judged people based on one or two marks on their past, he'd be a hypocrite. his friends never would have given him a chance, and he wouldn't have ryuji, or ann, or any of them. people are more than just the culmination of their actions, he believes.
